Before joining Westport in 2006, Mr. Landau was a Managing Director at Natixis, a French investment bank, where he was responsible for originating, underwriting and closing structured debt and equity products. Mr. Landau joined Ixis in 2002, after working at Bear Stearns for five years in a similar role. Prior to Bear Stearns, he was a Director at Deutsche Bank for two years, a Director and Real Estate Department Head at HSBC for three years and a Vice President at Citibank for four years. Mr. Landau remains active with the Real Estate Lenders Association, previously serving as its Chairman, and currently serving on its Board of Directors. Mr. Landau received a B.S., with Honors, from SUNY-Albany, and an M.S., with Honors, in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University.
